LOOKING FOR KAFTI BIRD

We did not manage to establish whether Kafti is an Armenian story indeed. In order to find the answer we have travelled to all the way to Armenia – although that was not the actual reason for the journey.

We managed to find many other things though – the region of Caucasus (Georgia, Azerbaijan and Armenia) has loads to offer: spectacular mountains, intriquing remains of the Soviet Empire, misterious monuments of much older then ours civilasation and very friendly local people.

The motif of the bird often appreas in the local architecture, it’s not out of question then that Kafti Bird indeed comes from that part of the world.
